González Calls for Change in Ecuador's Elections

Luisa González, the presidential candidate of the correísmo in Ecuador, has urged citizens to leave behind the 'lies' of the current president and reelection candidate, Daniel Noboa, and to vote for the change promised by Revolución Ciudadana, the political movement led by former president Rafael Correa.

During the campaign closing event in Guayaquil, González criticized Noboa, whom she has pointed out as a representative of an indifferent government that has plunged Ecuadorians into violence and pain for years. González has described Noboa as a leader who has not fulfilled his promises, citing the increase in gasoline prices, electricity, and VAT, as well as the lack of security in the country.

The candidate has promised to change the current situation for one of truth, hope, and peace, emphasizing the need to improve security and public services in health and education. González has also called on citizens to safeguard their vote at the polling stations, warning about possible irregularities by the National Electoral Council.

Among her supporters, there have been signs of support and hope that González can guide the country towards a better future. In contrast to Noboa, the correísta candidate has positioned herself as an alternative for change and progress for Ecuador, highlighting the importance of choosing someone who truly understands and represents the interests and needs of the population.
