In the beta version of WhatsApp, a new feature is being tested that will notify message senders when their conversations are captured through screenshots. This new function will be represented by the addition of a third blue check, in addition to the two already existing ones that indicate a message has been read.

Although there is still no official information from Meta regarding this, it is expected that this feature will be implemented gradually on users' devices in the coming months. The third blue check is anticipated to become a fundamental tool for preserving privacy in the messaging app.

Activating this additional function will not require adjustments from users, as it is expected to be an automatic process once it becomes globally available. WhatsApp aims to place greater emphasis on user privacy with this new feature, seeking to address potential issues of interception and disclosure of private conversations without authorization.

Currently, the third blue check is only present in the beta versions of WhatsApp for a limited group of users. In future updates, this notification will be implemented when a conversation is captured, whether in individual or group chats, with the aim of providing more transparency and control over shared content.

Given the growing concern for privacy in the digital age, the introduction of this function seeks to give users a sense of security by knowing who has saved copies of their interactions. The official release date of this feature for all users, including those in Ecuador, has not yet been confirmed.
