In Ecuador, the 29th Ibero-American Summit of States was concluded without the participation of its leaders. The summit discussed issues of cooperation between Latin American countries and Spain, as well as other important topics.
One of the main issues highlighted at the meeting was the agreement on the necessity to strengthen relations between countries in the region with the participation of heads of state. However, the heads of Ibero-American states did not attend the summit for various reasons, including political and health circumstances.
One of the participants of the summit noted: "Despite the absence of heads of state at this meeting, we were able to reach agreements on many important issues and formulate common action plans." Nevertheless, the absence of heads of state caused certain discontent among some summit participants.
According to this, at the summit, issues of economic cooperation, development of infrastructure, and sharing experience in various fields were discussed. Summit participants emphasized the importance of strengthening ties between countries in the region and the necessity of joint efforts to achieve agreements on important international issues.
